Respect for the Land
Every job is scoped with environmental and cultural sensitivity first. The land comes before the schedule.
Resident Rebuild Limited is a proudly Indigenous-owned company rooted in the traditional territory of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation — serving communities across Canada and the United States.
Skye Mills is the founder and driving force behind Resident Rebuild Limited. A proud member of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Skye built this company on a simple belief: the people doing the work should be the people who answer to the land.
With a focus on alternative blasting, rock breaking, and sensitive-site construction, Skye leads projects that most contractors shy away from — pipelines, quarries, mines, heritage sites, and multi-phase demolitions. Every job is approached with the same standard: precision work, straight talk, and zero shortcuts.
Resident Rebuild isn't just a company name — it's the mission. Rebuilding homes. Rebuilding infrastructure. Rebuilding nations.
Resident Rebuild Limited is based on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of the səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation — the People of the Inlet. We recognize that the Tsleil-Waututh have stewarded these lands and waters since time out of mind, and we carry that responsibility into every project we undertake.
As an Indigenous-owned business, we acknowledge the Nations on whose territories we work — from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and across the border into the United States. Wherever our work takes us, we commit to respecting the land, consulting with local communities, and leaving a site better than we found it.
The land was never ours to take — only ours to care for.
These aren't wall posters — they're how we operate every day.
Every job is scoped with environmental and cultural sensitivity first. The land comes before the schedule.
We hire locally, partner with Nations, and treat every client and worker like a neighbour — because they are.
Alternative blasting and rock breaking demand it. We meet and exceed every WorkSafe, OSHA, and industry standard.
Sensitive areas require exact execution. We plan twice, break once, and document everything.
No jargon, no runaround. If we can do it, we'll say so. If we can't, we'll tell you who can.
Every rebuild is a chance to build better — stronger, safer, and with the next generation in mind.
